Description

This Garlic Parmesan Burger is a savory, juicy masterpiece that’s packed with rich flavors. Ground beef patties are blended with garlic, fresh parmesan, and a touch of olive oil for a tender, flavorful bite. Quick to prepare and perfect for grilling or pan-searing, this burger will surely satisfy your cravings for a gourmet, yet simple meal.

Ingredients

– 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20)
– 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
– ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– Salt to taste
– Freshly ground pepper to taste
– 4 burger buns
– Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, extra parmesan, condiments

Instructions

1. Preheat the Grill or Skillet: Heat your grill to medium-high or preheat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of olive oil if using a skillet.

2. Prepare the Patty Mixture: In a bowl, mix the ground beef, minced garlic, grated parmesan, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Be gentle to avoid overworking the meat.

3. Shape the Patties: Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Make the patties slightly larger than your buns as they will shrink while cooking.

4. Cook the Patties: Grill or pan-sear the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F for medium doneness.

5. Toast the Buns: While the patties cook, lightly toast the buns on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.

6. Assemble the Burger: Place the cooked patties on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Add your choice of toppings such as lettuce, tomato, pickles, or extra parmesan.

7. Serve and Enjoy: Top with the other half of the bun, and serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

– If you prefer a spicier burger, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes to the patty mixture.
– For a low-carb option, use lettuce wraps instead of buns.
– Be sure to let the patties rest for a few minutes after cooking to retain their juices and flavor.
